Public Facing Website
The public-facing website runs on WordPress. It uses a custom theme based on the national brand requirements of Delta Tau Delta. It provides information about joining a fraternity, the Greek life culture at Missouri S&T, and other housing/financial information. Forms on the website are embedded Google Forms that have been programmed on the back-end to send to specific officers to ensure every question is answered by the responsible officer.
Newsletter Integration
Using the blog engine in WordPress, an electronic newsletter system has been created. Articles are uploaded to the website as blog posts. They appear on the front page as the most recent articles on the website. Delta Tau Delta is then able to select them and prepare an email that is sent to an email list of alumni. They are able to use statistics generated by the links in the email to see how many alumni have read the newsletter and which articles they read.
Private Google Sites
There is a private page on the website that members can log into that cannot be shown for security reasons. On this page, are links to private Google Sites that allow members to perform various tasks for the Fraternity. There is a calendar site, which displays all calendars and events for the organization and allows members to fill out a Google Form to submit new events, which is then automatically processed by Google and added to the calendar.
The other two are sites that allow members to report financial spending or file a petition to the Treasurer or to report member misconduct to the Honor Board.
Bylaws Management
Another private website developed on rolladelts.org is the Bylaws Management site. It is built on DokuWiki and has been modified to run a mobile friendly interface and to allow members to download a Word document versions of the bylaws.
